Jesus The Evangelist
Jesus The Evangelist was founded under the leadership of Evangelist Jesus Lorenzo, whose life journey reflects God’s grace, purpose, and calling.
Born in Venezuela and raised in the United States after immigrating at age 11, Jesus Lorenzo pursued his education at the University of Houston Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. During the 1990s, he served as a Lab Instructor and Executive Chef, teaching culinary techniques to both undergraduate and graduate students at the renowned Barron’s Restaurant.
His professional career continued with executive chef roles at prestigious venues across the country, including tribal casinos, where he elevated culinary standards and mentored staff—helping many grow into confident leaders and role models.
In time, God’s calling shifted his path from culinary excellence to full-time evangelism. Today, he uses his teaching and leadership gifts to proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all people.
What We Believe
Our ministry is built on the biblical foundations of the Trinity—God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We uphold the ordinances of water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit, and we teach that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We invite all to believe, repent, and be born again.
